The Story
In 1919, Count Camillo Negroni walked into Caffe Casoni in Florence and asked the bartender to strengthen his Americano by replacing the soda water with gin. The bartender obliged, added an orange garnish instead of lemon, and the Negroni was born. The Count reportedly drank them until the end of his days. We respect the commitment. Imagin Black brings something the Count never had: a gin with roasted coffee, cacao, and Thai black cardamom at its core. The Campari's bitterness finds a darker, richer partner. The sweet vermouth rounds everything into something almost luxurious. This is the Negroni as the Count imagined it. Just better.
