The Story
Wolf’s Paw is Sanpatong’s take on the Swedish Vargtass, literally “Wolf’s Paw”, a stark northern classic built on vodka and red berry sharpness. The original is tied to northern Sweden and Finland, is typically made with vodka and lingonberry drink, and became widely known through the 1985 Swedish film Sällskapsresan II: Snowroller. This version keeps that same backbone but swaps in dry cranberry juice for a cleaner, harder edge and a deeper crimson pour. No citrus circus. No sugar fog. Just cold vodka, dark berry bite, and the kind of drink that feels like it was invented after a long day in the snow and kept alive because it simply works. It is brutally simple, dangerously easy to drink, and memorable from the first sip.
