The Story
The Southside was born in Prohibition-era Chicago, allegedly the house drink of the South Side gang. Bootleg gin, lime, mint, sugar. A drink built for people who operated outside the rules and had excellent taste doing it. We moved it east. Southeast, to be precise. Imagin White brings jasmine, pomelo, and longan to the mint, and the Coconut Blossom Nectar Syrup replaces plain sugar with something the Chicago gangsters never had access to. The result is the same drink in spirit, bolder in character, and unmistakably Thai. The gangsters would have switched immediately.
