The Story
The Daiquiri is commonly attributed to late 1890s Cuba, named for the Daiquiri area near Santiago, and often linked to engineer Jennings Cox mixing rum with lime and sugar in the heat. The original is simple because it is meant to be. We keep it pure and sharp, then upgrade the sweetener. Coconut blossom nectar syrup adds body and mineral depth without turning the drink sticky. Elevated Rum's cane lift plus molasses warmth gives the classic more weight and a cleaner finish, without losing its bite.
